Bernie Wales has over 30 years’ experience as a successful entrepreneur.  Focusing mainly on Property Management Services, he has founded, built and sold several companies.  He is a Fellow of the Institute of Directors, a founding Fellow of the Institute of Residential Property Management, and an Associate of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Having started his career at Sainsburys, Bernie soon transferred into the world of property and by 1980 was responsible for a portfolio of 500+ tenancies in London, together with around 50 commercial investment properties throughout the UK.

Four years later he struck out on his own, forming Crabtree Property Management Limited, building up a portfolio of 9,000+ residential units over 18 years as Managing Director. Two more companies followed - Quite Ltd focused on the acquisition of freehold blocks of flats and commercial properties, ground rent and buildings insurance management. Bruton Kiff Ltd provided residential property management and consultancy services for Residents' Associations and property professionals.

Bernie's current company - BW Residential Property Consultancy provides property management consultancy services to residents and property professionals, as well as delivering training services to institutions such as the Association of Residential Managing Agents. He concentrates his efforts helping residents and property professionals to manage more easily, more happily, more professionally.
